Loire Wine Discovery Day

Take a visit to the enchanting Loire Valley with Cook'n With Class and discover all there is to know about the wines and winemakers of the region.

Only 2 hours from Paris the Loire Valley is renowned for it's beautiful landscapes, castles and famous wines.

This tour will be guided by Cook'n With Class and start upon arrival in Angers with a tutored tasting of 6 wines with local wine experts in their country home.

We'll run through the basics of tasting technique, discuss the geography of the region and unravel the mysteries of French wine labeling in the relaxed environment of the tasting room.

Following the tasting you will then enjoy a delicious home-made lunch with wine in the old barrel maturation cellar beneath the house.

In the afternoon we'll drive to one of the many famous appellations and visit a winery where you'll have the opportunity to taste a range of wines, stroll around the vineyards and buy wine at cellar door prices.

In all, a memorable day in the company of wine experts in beautiful surroundings.

All transport is arranged from Paris and the tour includes:

- Return train transport from Paris to Angers.
- Pick up/drop off to Angers station.
- Guided tasting of 6 wines in an old winemaker's home in the Loire valley.
- 3 course home-made lunch with wine.
- Visit to a Loire Valley winery & vineyards.
